Health and Medical Information
Health and medical information includes responses to health intake questions, medical history, current medications, treatment selections, laboratory reports, and other information relating to your health that you provide through the Services.
We collect health and medical information so that an appropriately licensed healthcare provider can evaluate whether a requested treatment is appropriate for you, and so that any resulting prescription can be fulfilled. Submitting information does not guarantee that a provider will authorize treatment.
Health and medical information is disclosed only to those who need it to provide the Services, such as the reviewing healthcare provider, the pharmacy or fulfillment partner that dispenses an authorized prescription, and service providers that operate the systems used to store and transmit it.
Please provide complete and accurate health information. Inaccurate or incomplete information may affect a provider’s evaluation.
Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, and destruction, appropriate to the nature of the information.
No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for signing out of shared devices. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including to maintain your account, provide the Services, maintain order and subscription records, and comply with our legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, and medical recordkeeping obligations.
When determining how long to retain information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, the purposes for which we process it, and applicable legal requirements.
When personal information is no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify it, or, if that is not possible, securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
